Holistic health development project through the 8th Amphawa Floating Market Half Marathon INFINITY RUN

The Office of General Education has organized the teaching of the course GEN 301: Holistic Health Development. The primary aim of this course is to educate students about holistic health development, encompassing physical, mental, social, and intellectual well-being through various activities. As part of this endeavor, the course has initiated a project on holistic health development, which includes participation in the Amphawa ChedChailai Competition, held at the Amphawa Floating Market, and the 8th Half Marathon “INFINITY RUN Endless Fun” featuring a mini-marathon event at Wat Phraya Yat (Pak Ngam), Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province, on Sunday, May 5th, 2024, from 3:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. A total of 120 students from the GEN 301 Holistic Health Development course took part in the mini-marathon competition. The participation in these activities yielded several successful outcomes:

Successful results that students receive from participating in activities: 1. Students gain inspiration and promote students to have exercise habits for health 2. Students learn about the local way of life of villagers throughout the competition route 3. Students contribute to society in the form of charity running, and 7 students receive awards as a result of their determination and practice. The 1st-5th place finishers in each category will receive trophies as follows;
