
Jerry Hung (Jenchieh Hung) and Kulthida Songkittipakdee, founding architects of the internationally acclaimed firm HAS Design and Research and Adjunct Professors at the School of Architecture and Design (SoA+D), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), have been appointed as jury members for the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) International Awards: Asia Pacific Awards 2025.
The announcement, officially published on the RIBA and RIBA Architecture Festival Asia platforms, marks a significant milestone, recognizing both their professional achievements and academic contributions in advancing the field of architecture.
For the awards, Jerry Hung will serve as a juror in the category “Design for Living”, while Kulthida Songkittipakdee will serve as a juror in the category “Social Architecture.” The RIBA International Awards: Asia Pacific Awards celebrates architectural works that reflect cultural identity, address contemporary challenges, and create meaningful living environments.
Their appointments also highlight the collaboration between SoA+D, KMUTT, under the leadership of Asst. Prof. Waraluk Pansuwan (Dean) and Asst. Prof. Kisnaphol Wattanawanyoo (Program Chair in Architecture), and distinguished international architects. This recognition demonstrates how Jerry Hung and Kulthida Songkittipakdee continue to bridge academic excellence with professional practice across Thailand, the Asia Pacific region, and the United Kingdom.
