


On January 18-20, 2025, the Master’s Degree Program in Environmental Social Sciences (#ESS), School of Liberal Arts, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (#KMUTT) organized activities “Develop Brain-based Learning Space” and “Learning Paths in Natural World Heritage Areas” under the project “Improving the curriculum, Build relationships, Be socially and environmentally responsible through learning social and environmental sciences in Thailand’s Natural World Heritage Area” at Banpongkasang School and Khao Yai National Park, Nakhon Ratchasima Province (#ESSTRIP2025), with Dr. Ittisak Jirapornvaree as the project manager. The Brain-based Learning Space development activities are designed to meet the school’s needs in developing student groups in Kindergarten 2 to Grade 6, consistent with the context of the area under the theme “Khao Yai.” There are learning elements, both Active Learning and Passive Learning, aimed at improving children’s learning growth and increasing teaching platforms for teachers. Mr. Chanaratphong Saenpaeng, an M.A. ESS student, designed the work.
Such initiatives focus on demonstrating social and environmental responsibility. Enhance the knowledge and expertise of M.A. ESS and faculty members in social management. And environment, seeking networks and partners for better teaching and learning in the future.
