Orientation for New International Students for Semester 2 of the 2024 Academic Year: A Warm Welcome to Semester 2 by The International Affairs Office

The International Affairs Office, KMUTT recently organized an Orientation for New International Students for Semester 2 of the 2024 Academic Year. The aim of this event was to make students feel at home and help them settle into life at KMUTT. With around 70 participants, including full-time and exchange students from over 10 different countries, the event took place from January 6–13, 2025.

Highlights included a Campus Tour and Welcome Party, where new students met their KMUTT Buddies. These buddies are here to help international students adapt to campus life and feel comfortable in their new environment.

A major highlight was the Thai Cultural and Food Workshop, where students learned to make traditional Thai treats like LookChup and Phong Mahot, led by our KMUTT buddies. The Thai Boxing Class at BangMod Sport Center was another exciting activity, blending fitness, tradition, and fun.

The orientation also featured an excursion to Wat Pho (Reclining Buddha Temple), offering students a chance to experience Thai culture and traditions.

The International Affairs Office will soon be organizing a Cultural Tour for 2 days and 1 night in Phetchaburi Province. This trip will offer students the chance to relax, explore, and learn about Thai culture, traditions, and local life, while fostering greater interaction between international students, Thai students, and staff.
