The School of Liberal Arts and the Faculty of Science at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) have partnered with Chotiwat Manufacturing Industry Public Company Limited to develop a curriculum in Food Industry Management at the bachelor’s degree level. This collaboration aims to integrate experiential learning, with teaching and learning organized both at KMUTT and through Hybrid Learning arrangements.
To formalize this partnership, a memorandum of understanding has been drafted for collaboration on human resource development projects. This includes gathering stakeholder input, visiting the factory and laboratory facilities at Chotiwat Manufacturing Public Company Limited. These facilities will enhance student learning experiences in the course, scheduled for June 25th – 26th, 2024.




The management team from KMUTT, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Monthira Nopparat, Vice President for Industry and Cooperation, and authorized by Associate Professor Dr. Suvit Saetia, President of the University, participated in signing the memorandum of understanding. Witnesses included Associate Professor Dr. Parinya Sa-Ngiamsunthorn, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Science, and Assistant Professor Dr. Sasitorn Suwannathep, Dean of the School of Liberal Arts.
Representatives from Cotiwat Manufacturing Public Company Limited, led by Mr. Somboon Chotiwattanaphan, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, and Ms. Ajchara Chotivattanaphan, Chief Human Resources Officer, also signed the memorandum. Mr. Seksan Lertrattanaporn, Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer, served as a witness.
The project is scheduled to commence in the first semester of 2024, accommodating a total of 10 students annually across 2 batches, with additional opportunities for participation in related courses and educational programs at KMUTT.
