The Office of General Education at the School of Liberal Arts has initiated a program to enhance teachers’ competencies in teaching and learning design, in line with the standards of the Higher Education Qualifications (THAILAND PSF). This program is funded by the Office of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation through a joint investment in the curriculum.

The first workshop was held for 60 teachers and educational personnel on Friday, June 21, and Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn. Valuable feedback was received, indicating that participants have increased their teaching and learning competencies under the OBEx project. They are now better equipped to apply their newly developed skills in curriculum design and improvement, as well as in the management of teaching and learning within their respective subjects and learning units.

Some participants have also been able to transfer the knowledge gained to their colleagues and other professionals. Additionally, a group of participants suggested that the project results should be expanded to further develop teaching competencies, particularly focusing on instructional design within their own subjects and learning units. This feedback has been incorporated into the training content for this session.
