










On November 18, 2024, the National Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO) in collaboration with the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, KMUTT, organized a seminar on “Directions of Manpower Development to Cope with the Transition to Electric Vehicles” at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. The seminar discussed the government’s direction in promoting the modern automotive industry, emphasizing business expansion. In addition, there is a policy on workforce development for the electric vehicle industry (EV-HRD), which aims to create and develop labor skills to meet the needs of driving the country’s modern automotive industry.
With Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suwit Saetia, President, who honored to be the chairman of the opening of the seminar, which was attended by experts from many institutes in the government sector, industry sector, and education sector, such as the Board of Investment (BOI), Automotive Human Resource Development Academy (AHRDA), Department of Skill Development, Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand (EVAT), Electric Vehicle Modification Association of Thailand (ECAT), Program Management Unit for Human Resources & Institutional Development, Research and Innovation (PMU-B), 24M Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and ECU Shop 1 Co., Ltd., who joined as speakers in the seminar to exchange ideas and directions for preparing for the transformation of the electric vehicle industry, which is an important part of driving the Thai economy, both in terms of production, employment, and increased foreign investment, as well as answering questions from participants, both online and onsite, totaling 70 people.
