The School of Liberal Arts hosted an event titled “Let’s Reframe the Global Competence”

On Monday, February 6 and 13, 2022, from 12 p.m. to 16 p.m., the School of Liberal Arts hosted an event titled “Let’s Reframe the Global Competence” with the objective of educating its staff on the significance of global competence and empowering them to drive the school’s mission of global competence development.

The speakers were the Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sasitorn Suwannathep, Associate Dean for Global Competence Development, Asst. Prof. Dr. Natjiree Jaturapitakkul, Assistant Dean for Research, Asst. Prof. Dr. Passanan Assavarak, and Assistant Dean for Academic Service and Sustainable Development, Dr. Surat Petchnil. They discussed policies, missions, and ways to improve and upgrade the development of global competence among faculty and students. The participants in this activity also share information regarding the kind of activities that can be done as part of their course, the types of activities that can be done as extracurricular activities, and ways in which global competence development can be enhanced.

The Global Competence Development Centre (GCDC) will summarize all suggestions discussed during this activity and include them in the future global competence development plan of the School of Liberal Arts.This event was attended by approximately 50 lecturers, researchers, and education developers from the General Education Office, the Language Group, and the Social and Humanities Group.
