Researcher Connect Online

The British Council will be launching a pilot session for Researcher Connect Online – a Professional Development Programme for Early-career researchers (ECR) to train on communicating their research. We are looking to recruit 8 Thai participants to fully take part in the 12-hour pilot training, and registration will be free of charge. We would be grateful if you could support and share this with your network of researchers for potential interest.

*Additional 1-on-1 support sessions are optional and participants can hop-in / out at anytime.

This will be an opportunity for researchers not only to learn the techniques, but also to bring in their own research and work to share in discussion.

Mode of delivery: MS Teams as preferred platform, but may vary for different activities. Participants will be briefed beforehand. Sessions will be trained by experienced UK Researcher Connect Trainer.

Eligibility criteria:

Must be an early career researcher, obtaining PhD no more than 10 years (or equivalent experience)
Must be able to take part in a workshop fully in English, preferably pass an English proficiency test at CEFR level B2 or above (equivalent to IELTs 5.5)
Must be able to take part in all sessions, and willing to provide feedback following completion.

Selection will be on first-come-first-serve basis, although if application exceeds capacity, we reserve the rights to select and diversify the candidates. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email on 10 Mar 2021.
