The university awards scholarships to students who demonstrate exceptional abilities in a variety of fields, including graduate-level research, outstanding academic achievements, and specific undergraduate talents. These scholarships are intended to develop various perspectives and achieve societal change through KMUTT's programs.

THE PETCHRA PRA JOM KLAO Master’s Degree Scholarship

Promoting the students with distinguished academic capabilities and enhance the research and development experience under the supervision of highly experienced group. It aims to support students who have potential and capability. The scholarship will grant within the study period specified in the curriculum and under indicated conditions. However, for students to be granted the scholarship, they have to gain a GPAX. score of at least 3.25 for master’s degree.

THE PETCHRA PRA JOM KLAO Ph.D Research Scholarship to improve the students’ utilization of their precious time to study

In the doctoral degree program and enhance the research and development experience under the supervision of highly experienced group of researchers and advisors. This scholarship is for those doctoral students who wants to develop themselves as quality researchers in their respective fields of research so as to create a positive impact on the social and economic conditions of the country.

Multi-intellectual Scholarship

To express our gratitude and obligation to Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhon for her contribution towards education in Thailand and neighboring countries, the university has decided to announce the Multi – Intellectual Scholarship grant for students pursuing Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from countries: Cambodia, Lao PDR., Myanmar and Vietnam.

To comply with the Internationalization policy and increase the number of international students with scholarships. KISP grant for students pursuing Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from international countries except Vietnam, Lao PDR., Myanmar, and Cambodia.

The Greater Mekong Sub-region Country Scholarship (GMS)

KMUTT has decided to provide scholarships for a master’s degree and a doctoral degree to staff and students of the Greater Mekong Sub-region country: Lao PDR., Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, and China (specifically Yunnan Province).

    • Ancillary Fee (not over 60,000 THB/Year)
    • Credit fee 80,000 THB/Year
    • Accommodation 3,000 THB/Month
    • Health and Accident Insurance 2,500 THB/Year

Rukkhaphitthayaphat Scholarship

King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi and Jülich Institute cooperate in giving scholarships to graduate students, Rukkhaphitthayaphat Scholarships, whose name bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, from academic year 2565-2568 B.E. The scholarships consist of 3 scholarships for doctoral degree and 3 scholarships for master degree for the areas of Plant Science, Robotic Engineering and Automation System and other areas related to Bioeconomy.
