Step to start for short-term research in overseas

1.Plan for short-term research trip
Planning for short-term research with advisor, the recipient must obtain a letter of acceptance from advisor abroad. In the case of the scholarship recipients are required to travel after the completion of the course of study. The scholarship recipients are required to present travel plans and budget for such short-term research expenses to the scholarship provider within the time period stipulated in the program’s study plan.

2.Prepare documents for travel and budget approval
✔ Download documents: Forms P05, P06, and P07
✔ Acceptance letter for participation in short-term research abroad
✔ Schedule for the short-term research activity plan
✔ Copy of Qualifying Examination results
✔ Copy of Proposal Examination results

3.Submit documents for travel and budget approval
Please submit the travel approval documents in advance, 2 months prior to the departure. Send the documents to Student financial Aid Unit Office, 2nd floor, the President Building.

4.Notify the approval results
Staff will notify the approval results and details regarding the expenses via e-mail. The funds will be transferred to the bank account specified by the grant recipient in the attachment to the contract

Note : The recipient must receive approval notification from the officer before proceeding with the VISA application, booking flight tickets, and purchasing travel insurance; otherwise, reimbursement will not be possible in any case. If students require a scholarship certificate for their VISA application, please fill out P15 form and send it to sfa@kmutt.ac.th
