In recent years, much attention has been given to developing efficient and implementable iterative methods for solving image and signal recovery problems. In this work, we construct a new iterative algorithm by incorporating some acceleration techniques, in particular, inertial step. Additionally, we explore the potential applications of the proposed method. We recover an original image from a degraded sample using the proposed method. Preliminary results suggest that the proposed method is fast and efficient in comparison with some state of the art methods in the literature. Application in image recovery suggests that the proposed method is easy to implement and efficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
