Typically, they will undertake an internship either part-time during such semester or full-time in a summer session with the duration varies from 6 \u201310 weeks, but can be shorter or longer. An internship can be referred to as \u201cwork experience\u201d or \u201cindustry experience\u201d to attain professional experience or an industrial training. During this period students are expected to use the things they learned and put them into practice. This practical experience will base upon student\u2019s academic background, while providing a jump start to their career and hands-on experience. This way student gains not only work experience in their field of study but also to determine if they have an interest in a particular career, create a network of contacts, or gain school credit.
