{"id":885,"date":"2021-07-05T09:26:18","date_gmt":"2021-07-05T09:26:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kmutt.ac.th\/internationalization\/?post_type=inter-news&#038;p=885&#038;lang=en"},"modified":"2021-07-06T07:16:25","modified_gmt":"2021-07-06T07:16:25","slug":"kochi-university-of-technology-special-scholarship-program-ssp-3-year-doctoral-program","status":"publish","type":"inter-news","link":"https:\/\/www.kmutt.ac.th\/internationalization\/inter-news\/kochi-university-of-technology-special-scholarship-program-ssp-3-year-doctoral-program\/?lang=th","title":{"rendered":"KOCHI UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY &#8211; Special Scholarship Program (SSP): 3-Year Doctoral Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kochi-tech.ac.jp\/about\/campus\/img\/170b476565a40d97689e5034f6602a8a.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Kochi University of Technology (KUT) is offering a year by year Doctoral scholarship  program (maximum 3 years) with support in living  expenses and travel costs for international applicants residing outside Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Scholarship Term<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 Year, maximum of 3 years (extended year-by-year)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Scholarship Benefits<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Exemption from entrance examination fee, enrollment fee and yearly tuition fee<\/li><li>Monthly support in living expenses, paid as salary for research project work.<br>*Applicants are obligated to pay some amount of taxes from this salary.<\/li><li>Initial living costs and initial travel expense is provided for international applicants  living outside Japan.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Eligibility<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Must receive approval from &#8220;Project Leader&#8221; of preferred research project offered by KUT (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kochi-tech.ac.jp\/english\/admission\/ssp_aft19oct\/ssp_research_project_list_for_prospective_students_enrolling_in_oct.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click here<\/a><\/strong><\/span> for list of Research Projects Offered)<\/li><li>Is highly passionate and have the intention, adequate knowledge and research skill to work in the preferred research project.<\/li><li>Must complete or will be completing a Master&#8217;s Degree (or equivalent degree indicating 18 years of education) at the time of enrollment<\/li><li>Must be of 35 years or under<\/li><li>To have an excellent academic record and strong bachelor&#8217;s and master&#8217;s degrees from reputable universities<\/li><li>Must have a high English proficiency<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Application Process<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Pre-Application Procedure (Request for approval of research project from Project Leader)<ul><li>Select your preferred research project from the list offered.<\/li><li>Complete the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/irc-admission.kochi-tech.ac.jp\/application_form\/PreApplication\/Index\/ssp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Online Pre-Application Form<\/a><\/strong><\/span> and send your completed pre-application request to the Project Leader of your preferred research project for approval.*<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Formal Application Procedure (Received approval from Project Leader)<ul><li>Complete all required documents and submit documents to KUT by post.
