Place:<\/strong> South Korea<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Period:<\/strong> One Semester (September – December 2021) or Two semesters (September 2021 –\u00a0June\u00a02022)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements: \u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1) Undergraduate students who can take classes taught in either Korean or English- A student who obtained an average grade of more than 80% (based on a 100% grading scale) in the whole academic year. The student should have been studying at his or her university for more than 2 semesters.- Grade must be above 80% for the whole academic year.*If you study in Korea for 2 semesters, your first semester\u2019s grade (in Korea) must be above 80%. Otherwise, you will fail to be GKS student for the next 2nd semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Official Development Assistance (ODA) nationality<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Students should select more than three classes per semester from the list of courses taught in English including at least one class related to Korea (Korean language, history, culture, etc)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Details of the Scholarship:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

(* It can be changed due to the plan of National National Institute of International Education)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Living Expenses: 500,000 KRW\/Month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Round-trip Airfare (Economy Class):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– fixed amount (support for roundtrip airfare does not depend on the amount of the plane ticket \u2013 a maximum airfare support is specified for each country \u2013 For example, students from USA can get a maximum airfare support of 1,500,000 won while students from Japan can receive only up to a total of 500,000 won regardless of the actual ticket price.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Students should return their home country within 30 days after exchange program finished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Settlement Allowance: 200,000 KRW (One time)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4) Insurance Fee: about 40,000 KRW\/Month5) Self quarantine fee: Due to Covid 19<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Application Steps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

STEP 1: Students fill in the application form.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Consult your advisor about course registration. This is to make sure that the credits taken at the partner institutions can be accepted and transferred back to KMUTT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Submit Online Application Form<\/a>, and prepare following required documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
