KMUTT proudly participated in the 2nd EU-ASEAN Policy Dialogue on Higher Education, held from 26 to 28 May 2025 in Brussels and Leuven, Belgium. Organized under the Sustainable Connectivity Package \u2013 Higher Education Programme (SCOPE-HE), the event aimed to strengthen inter-regional collaboration in higher education, technical and vocational education and training (TVET), and research. It brought together senior representatives from ministries, international organizations, universities, and the private sector to explore strategic pathways for sustainable connectivity between the EU and ASEAN. The dialogue focused on three key themes: advancing international collaboration, enhancing skills recognition for workforce mobility, and increasing youth participation in education policy. Representing KMUTT was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chawin Chantharasenawong, Vice President for Internationalization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the final day, Dr. Chawin was one of the featured speakers in the \u201cAdvancing Higher Education Partnerships: Good Practices\u201d session, where he presented ASEAN perspectives on international cooperation with European universities. His talk highlighted KMUTT\u2019s experience in fostering academic partnerships and emphasized the importance of mutual understanding and shared goals in building sustainable collaborations. During his talk, he also introduced KMUTT\u2019s Social Lab\u2014a model of community-based learning that reflects KMUTT\u2019s pioneering role in community-integrated learning. The Social Lab brings students and researchers into real communities to tackle real problems, applying science and innovation to co-create sustainable solutions. What makes this initiative especially compelling is its expansion to international learners and researchers. It\u2019s more than just a study abroad experience but a transformative experience that allows participants to engage deeply with society, learn by doing, and make a tangible impact. This approach reflects KMUTT\u2019s decades of commitment to inclusive, hands-on education that bridges academia and real-world challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
