UNV works with partners to integrate qualified, highly motivated, and well-supported UN Volunteers into development programming and promote the value and global recognition of volunteerism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-6ae5036c-615b-4d05-bf0a-2e43e0c9a48d\">King Mongkut\u2019s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) and United Nations Volunteers (UNV) aim to inspire Thai youth as social change agents by improving their potential in volunteerism. This year, the program will mainly focus on deploying KMUTT students as the University Internatnioal volunteers at the following Host Agency in Bangkok :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-77814044-9fb7-4c1b-bd59-b96e72dddcba\"><strong>Country of Assignment:<\/strong> Vietnam<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-5d76305d-44ec-4c20-b9b4-25f151b30f97\"><strong>Duration:<\/strong> 6 months (13 June \u2013 12 December 2025)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-0a593f19-f7c0-4310-a47c-ac904ab70a3b\"><strong>Host UN Agency:<\/strong> UN Resident Coordinator\u2019s Office in Vietnam<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The UN Volunteer will work under the guidance of the Head of the Resident Coordinator&#8217;s Office (RCO) in Viet Nam to support digital transformation and the ethical use of AI and technology in collaboration with the Government of Vietnam and UN agencies. The responsibilities include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Coordination on Digital Transformation and AI:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide updates on digital transformation, AI, and technology developments in Vietnam, the Asia-Pacific, and globally.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain working relationships with government and development partners on digital transformation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with communications and advocacy related to these areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support for UN Results Groups:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Engage with the UN Results Group on Shared Prosperity through Economic Growth and other groups under the <a href=\"https:\/\/thailand.un.org\/en\/166885-united-nations-sustainable-development-cooperation-framework-unsdcf-2022%E2%80%932026\">UNSDCF (2022-2026).<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide updates and inputs on integrating digital transformation, AI, and technology into UN planning and programming.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise with the Office of the Special Envoy for Technology in New York.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Skills Required for the Role:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Knowledge and Expertise:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding of digital transformation, AI, and emerging technologies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with policy development and international frameworks like the Global Digital Compact.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Communication and Advocacy:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong communication skills to support advocacy efforts on digital transformation and technology.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience working with government and development partners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Collaboration and Coordination:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to engage effectively with inter-agency groups and promote joint planning and programming.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Research and Analysis:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Capacity to provide updates and analysis on trends in digital transformation and technology in Viet Nam and beyond.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Organizational and Project Management:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Skills in coordinating multiple tasks and providing timely inputs to various UN groups and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Technical Relationship Building:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working in or with UN agencies or multilateral organizations is advantageous.+<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Find More details: (<a href=\"https:\/\/mailkmuttacth-my.sharepoint.com\/:w:\/g\/personal\/nontanan_rua_kmutt_ac_th\/EdRAWNxDs_FFnDADzNMKboABG4i8oZVqcTl69i2MhfEg7g?e=6gRShb\">Click Here<\/a>)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-7fefcf34-e766-457b-84e3-1071d39b289f\"><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-447aaf2b-1b76-4c28-83ee-845f3582bbde\">\n<li>Full-time KMUTT student<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-e3b71430-fd77-4d58-a959-b3a65f17909a\">\u2013 Undergraduate student, who has completed <strong>at least two years<\/strong> at KMUTT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-b1b427b7-26fb-4126-b7e3-342b6c4c7b6b\">\u2013 Graduate student, who has completed <strong>at least one semester <\/strong>at KMUTT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-e53b5abf-e535-43ad-8a43-1a482128045e\">\n<li>Have good English skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates are not receiving any scholarships from KMUTT.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates are able to join the program until the end of the assignment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>General Education (GEN) Courses and Language Courses (LNG) can be transferred as credit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-a4914963-7bd6-462e-a2cb-64a70e760284\"><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-c4e49c76-c81d-41bd-8f24-cf5f900b6c35\">\u2022&nbsp;
