How to config thai fix fonts on browser to read and write thai language ?

    Microsoft Internet Explorer
    For Microsoft Internet Explorer the Microsoft Thailand put thai version already that support thai now. You cann't config anything on your browser but if your will config it to be Default Language in Microsoft Internet Explorer so you can choose each version of Internet Explore this.
    Internet Explorer

    Netscape Navigator or Netscape Communicator
    According to Netscape have no thai version so if users want to use thai language on Netscape. Users must config on Fix font part to read and write thai. Each version of Netscape follow this.
    Netscape Navigator 3.0
    Netscape Communicator 4.0

Internet Explorer 3.0

Step 1) Go to menu View -> Options...

Step 2) Window Options will show -> select tab General -> click Font Settings...

Step 3) Window Fonts will show to config many things

3.1) Defaultselect Thai
3.2) Character Setsselect Thai
3.3) Proportional Fontselect Cordia New that show on picture
3.4) Click OK to config font now

Step 4) click OK on window Options to back and use Internet Explorer 3.0


Internet Explorer 4.0

Step 1) Go to menu View -> Internet Options...

Step 2) Window Internet Options will show -> select tab General -> click Fonts...

Step 3) Window Fonts will show to config many thing

3.1) Chracter setsselect Thai
3.2) Proportionalselect AngsanaUPC ( or other Font that can display thai characters )
3.3) Font sizeselect Medium ( or other size you happy )
3.4) Click Set As Default
3.5) Click OK fo config font now

Step 4) Click OK on window Internet Options to back to and use Internet Explorer4.0


Netscape Navigator 3.0
For Netscape Navigator 3.0 how to config to read thai you can do now. But how to config to write thai on input form on web page , on mail you must have thai fix font to display thai characters.

Download thai fix font
For all users who have no thai fix font. Click button "Download" below to download and install font on your system.

Step 1) Go to menu Options -> General Preferences...

Step 2) Window General Preference will show -> select tab Fonts and select many things

    For the Encodingselect User Defined
    Use the Propotional Font select FixedDB ThaiText New ( or other Font that can display thai characters )
    Use the Fixed Font select FixedDB ThaiText New ( or other Font that can display thai characters )

    Click button OK

Step 4) Go to menu Options -> Document Encoding -> Set Default


Netscape Communicator 4.0
For Netscape Communicator 4 .0 how to config to read and write thai you can do now by you don't need any fix font. Follow below

Step 1) Go to menu Edit -> Preferences...

Step 2) Window Preference will show -> select Fonts from tab Appearance -> window Font will show like picture and select many things

2.1) For the Encodingselect User Defined
2.2) Variable Width Fonts select AngsanaUPC ( or other Font that can display thai characters )
2.3) Fixed Width Font ให้เลือก Courier New ( or other Font that can display thai characters )
2.4) Sometimes a document will provide its own fonts. Select User document specific fonts, including Dynamic Fonts
2.5) Click botton OK

Step 3) Go to menu View -> Encoding -> select User-Defined

Step 4) Go to menu View -> Encoding -> select Set Default Encoding
