         On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we would like to make an announcement about the Postponement of International Conference on Postharvest Pest and Diseases Management in Exporting Horticultural Crops (PPDM2012).

         According to the severe flood crisis in Bangkok currently, the Organizing Committee regret to inform you that The International Conference on Postharvest Pest and Diseases Management in Exporting Horticultural Crops (PPDM2012) originally held at The
Golden Tulip Sovereign, Bangkok, during December 3rd-6th, 2011 has to be postponed. We have been monitoring the situation carefully during the past 4 weeks, and it seems that it's getting worse.

         Although the hotel venue-The Golden Tulip Sovereign Hotel may stay safe and dry at the moment, but the transportation system in Bangkok may still suffer from the flood. Therefore we plan to reschedule the conference in February 21st-24th, 2012.

         The Organizing Committee would like to offer their sincere apologizes for the inconvenience might cause to all potential participants. It is highly appreciated if you all actively participate in the newly scheduled conference (February 21st-24th, 2012). Again, we are sorry for all difficulties caused by this postponement.
