No other time must the world of education go through a fast and drastic transformation. As society is stepping towards a more flexible learning, the organization of higher educational institutions has to go through a great redesign to keep up with the level of competitiveness in the world.

The old model of the passive, closed and beyond-reach institution can barely sustain and does not seem to be useful in this Era of flexible learning.

A center for education, invention and networking is proposed to make use of the opportunity. Collaborative Development Center {CODE} King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi City Center focuses on activities for human resource development. Aiming at producing world standard professionals, the center will be a place for both local and international professional interactions.

Rather than solely conforming to pre-established standards, the center supports the freedom of individuals and their innovations in order to prepare them for the ever-changing, dynamic world.
